Terms of Use

Effective 29 August 2026. Published by Aravind Arumugam, the maker of Sift.

By installing or using Sift you agree to these terms and to the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, which govern where these terms are silent.

Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Sift on your Atlassian Cloud sites for as long as it is installed. The free edition is provided free of charge. Paid editions, if offered, are licensed through the Atlassian Marketplace under its billing terms.

Your content

You keep all rights to your Confluence content. Sift only reads tables on the page to display filters and stores the settings described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use Sift to break the law, interfere with Atlassian services, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.

Availability and support

Sift is provided “as is”. We aim to keep it working and answer support requests within two business days, but we don't guarantee uptime or fitness for a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for the free edition is nil; for paid editions it is limited to the fees you paid in the previous twelve months.

Termination

Uninstall the app at any time; these terms end when you do. We may withdraw the app from the Marketplace with reasonable notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Chennai.
